Name of Business: Dillon Beach Connection

I attached logos I like,

Objective is to promote Dillon Beach and make it a tool to advertise and showcase real estate properties in and around Dillon Beach (West Marin, West Sonoma, etc.) and to promote Things to Do in and around the Area.

Additional Ideas:
The idea for the logo can be the following:

Playing with the D in Dillon so that it is fun and colorful and sets the tone
Using nautical knots either before the D or under Dillon Beach Connection
A simple set of oars under Dillon Beach Connection crossing each other
Three surf boards on three different sizes standing up
A wave over the Dillon Beach part ready to burst/cresting
A small sea urchin inside the D with the D obviously bigger
The D in large font with the “tail fo the D” being a mermaid tail

I'm confused with what you like. The logos of the websites on your description all have minimalist design, but the logos on your attachment are not really minimalist and are pretty 'busy'. Which is it that you really prefer? Minimalist or not really?
