We are looking for an attractive, distinctive design for cycling uniforms for a local cycling club.

The uniforms should include the club logo, a sketch of which has been completed but that sketch needs to be properly rendered in both hi and low-res formats for use in a variety of applications, including the uniforms, web site, stationary, etc.

The logo sketch is attached in .png format and includes the following color palette:
- RGB 188, 16, 30 (Red)
- RGB 255, 153, 0 (Orange)
- RGB 255, 255, 102 (Yellow)
- *Note that the border/accent color is currently represented by RGB 217, 217, 217 (light grey), but in reality this will be a reflective silver (necessary for visibility/safety on public roadways).

In addition to a standalone logo, it should also include a "treatment" font of the club name. The name of the club is the "Rakuten Rouleurs"

As evidenced by the attached logo sketch and font, the two prevailing visual themes are "minimalist" and "round." The uploaded font ("Optien") mostly satisfies those requirements, but I am not committed to this font in any way - the biggest complaint being the lack of an "a" (which is instead represented by an upside-down "e"). So, long story short this is open to your ideas.

The design uniforms themselves needs to be done within the templates provided by the uniform manufacturer. Both short-sleeve + shorts (summer) as well as long-sleeve + tights (winter) are needed. Ideally the designs of both would be interchangeable so that a long-sleeve jersey could be worn with the shorts or vice versa. The only other requirements from the uniform design side are that the uniforms prominently include the team logo, team name and make use of the team color palette. Also note that the base fabric colors should be white and black. Other than that it's an open canvas so we're really looking forward to seeing what cool designs you can come up with.

At the end of the day, required deliverables will be as follows:

- Standard Logo "Pack" including the following: CMYK (High resolution), Spot color (High resolution), Greyscale (High resolution), Solid 1 color (High resolution), RGB (low resolution)
-- Hi Res files should include .ai .pdf .eps .tiff & .psd (with transparency)
-- RGB Low Res files should include .ai .pdf .eps .jpg (500px wide) .png (with transparency, 500px wide) .gif (250px wide with transparency) .psd (with transparency) Greyscale .jpg (250px wide) & Solid black .jpg (250px wide)
- Short Sleeve jersey + Shorts design laid over manufacturer template (.ai .pdf .png .psd)
- Long Sleeve jersey + Tights design laid over manufacturer template(.ai .pdf .png .psd)

It seems from the logo, colors, and overall look that you are going for an "old school" cycling appearance?

  I guess the colors do evoke a sort of 70s bell-bottoms flair. I wouldn't necessarily call it "old school" but rather..."classic."

It's a company club team, so the name is simply from the company. "Rouleurs" was added because it's a cycling term and...alliteration! Also, this is primarily for road but there are also some cyclocross members.

Is there a meaning behind the name "Rakuten Rouleurs". What category do you race? Road, Mountain, Cyclocross?
