Hi - I'm looking for the very best and most talented creative people to get involved in this contest!!

I need a new and unique logo developed, which will primarily be used online for a new website - however, it will also be used on packaging and offline point of sale promotional materials.

The website will be selling speciality grade coffee pods (think Nespresso machines) and will be called: The Pod Lab

The tagline associated with the logo will be "Professors in Podology"' - this is obviously tongue in cheek, but I'm seeking to convey that The Pod Lab know a heck of a lot about coffee, but are still fun and light hearted.

I'd like the logo design to carry on that sense of playfulness and needs to marry that along with fun & quirkiness. However, it still ultimately must be slick and high end as the coffee pods themselves will be specialty grade and command a premium price. This is a very important element of the brief and will seperate the better submissions in my eyes.

In terms of colours - I will be placing logo on a predominately white background site so it will need to standout in that environment and will also be used as a sticker on packaging (see attached coffee bag examples). I'd ideally like at least one highlight colour as well incorporated into the design which I can use elsewhere on the site as a key colour.

I would love to see some really lateral interpretations of this brief and fun integration of key elements like laboratories, science, professors, nerds, coffee pods, hipsters...
