We are called The Madinah Project and we seeks to provide a safe-space, judgement-free zone that can engage the disengaged populations.
Our group is comprised of majority young adults and converts looking for fellowship and knowledge, though we have a communal, family feel. Although most of the people who are part of The Madinah Project are Muslim, not all are. We have people of other faith attending our events and we are also heavily involved with the larger local communities.
The goal for the project is to embody the inheritance of Muhammad ﷺ’s Madinah through creating an authentic culture of devotion, knowledge, community, character, and service.
The project started out of Akron, Ohio (Akron as being on the highest elevation in the state).
Majority of our events take place in a home which we feel is an essential part of the vibe of home and family.
