I need a simple but unique logo for a school networking/dating website called 'School Mingle'. I don't want it to be too "dating" focused, as the website can be used to just meet new people and make friends. Whether you write it as 2 words (School Mingle, school mingle) or 1 word (SchoolMingle, schoolmingle), it's up to you. I would also prefer that the logo have some kind of logo/symbol involved. Thanks and looking forward to your submissions!

Also, 5 stars doesn't mean automatic win. I am just arranging the logo ideas based on quality, and removing stars from some after I get a chance to go back and forth and compare/think about them. As I mentioned, I will be keeping the contest open for at least 5 days, so if someone comes with an amazing concept/idea they can still be in top 3. Thanks!

Thanks for everyone who has participated so far! I received a lot more entries than I had expected, so I won't be able to give specific critique to everyone, but you can get a general idea of what I like based on how I rated the entires (I assume everyone can see the ratings?). Generally I like thinner typefaces, subtle icon/symbolism, and unique color combinations.

I believe the first time you used chat bubble was entry #15 ?, but the color combination and how the shapes fit just didn't work. I don't think people necessarily copied your idea, maybe they were working on the same idea and you happened to submit first. I try my best to give constructive feedback to everyone so at least they learn and don't feel like they are wasting their time, but I can't really say "do this exactly" because if I knew exactly what the best logo would be I wouldn't have the contest.
