Hello out there,

I need a graphic desing for an eBook cover. The book will be published at Amazon. The cover must be: 1600 x 2560 pixels RGB. The output file is required in photoshop format.

- Title: How to Quit Your Job and Travel
- Subtitle: The Ultimate Guide to Exploring Central & South America
- Author: Lars Wanderlust

- Content of the book:
how to overcome fears of quitting the job and travel, how to prepare for a long term journey in the latin world, what to expect on the trip, what the trip will change in you, how to find back to normal life after returning --> purpose of the book is to make people (long term) travel and help them overcoming their fears

- target group:
holds university degree, has white collar job, is 28-35 years old, loves travelling, is bored in his job, wants to explore new things, has conservative values but wants to break out, is interested in backpacking, has a faible for latin world

design:
clean and crisp, vivid / happy colors (but NOT extreme, like neon or too bright and cheap looking), artwork must be licence free (if it is not your own), eye catching, people should have the desire to break out if they see the cover

IMPORTANT:
please do NOT use any typical photographs/pictures (there are already thousand of books cover like this out there). What I want is something originally (basically your own artwork).

    Thanks to all for your good work. It was really hard to decide for which design to take. In the end it only could be one. However I am sure that with your skills you will win other awards. In the end it also a matter of personal taste. Luckily tastes of different persons are different.

    The book is also about to free yourself from a white collar job and relax freedom for long term travel. It would be great if this could be incorporated in the design. So far most designs are mainly focused on the central and south america aspect.

    #18 that's what I call happy colors. Color wise it is the best proposal. However the rest of #18 does not actually meet my specification.

    Would be great if you could give your design a sort of happy touch (although white color workers are the target group / so do not overdo that aspect).
