Resumen del concurso

We are looking for a designer to propose a new layout for the back of our garden that needs to feature a larger patio area.

We have the following criteria:
- Needs a larger patio area, which will likely need to extend across the grass at the side as a minimum (We may consider replacing existing patio or just extending it).
- We like the idea of a Pergola but this is not essential.
- Needs to fit the rattan garden furniture shown (it currently does not fit!)
- It would be nice to have enough space for us to add an egg chair if possible.
- Replace existing steps into the garden with something wider.
- Replace/change/extend the flower beds. We want flowers but the existing configuration is not important.
- The existing 'wooden railway sleepers' can be replaced with something different.

What we like:
- Neat & tidy
- Symmetry
- Easy maintenance (we are not very good gardeners)
- Lighter/smarter/ patio slabs. But we may keep existing slabs.

Please be sensible with affordable features as will be working with a local builder on a limited budget for materials.

See attached current photos and diagrams of layout.
Note the 'blue' hashed area is where we are willing to extend to. The back of the garden does not need changing.
