Hi all,
The logo must is part of the corporate design, the corporate philosophy should be reflected.  
It must be clearly assignable to the activity, the industry, the product.

The font must match the website.
The logo must be simple and understandable.
Clear forms, matching colors. 
Design must be easy to remember. High recognition value.
Logo should be unique and original. A derivation of already existing logos must be avoided.
The logo must be arbitrarily scalable. It must also be readable in a very small size.
It must be created as a vector graphic (not saved as vector graphic).
The logo must be usable in all areas and media. On the website and in advertising media. 
There must be a black/white variant.  
The colors must be created in HKS. Under no circumstances in special colours.
The logo must be timeless and not be associated with a fashionable appearance.

Delivery also as svg version.

We will not accepted any logo design if it not fits our requirement in all points.

Sukith, I know you made plenty of logos. I appreciate your effort in that case, i told you that.
But you obviously didn't meet the requirements so often, I can't take the logos, even if some didn't look bad.
Same is with Ahmad, he really made a nice logo. But I can't see it if it was used on a website. Some came by and painted something, wanted to comment on the nonsense, too.

Tarek, made really great logos, but none of them were what we chose.

But above all, we chose a competition because we've known freelancers for more than 10 years. We don't make the rules. Our prize money was almost twice as high as in other competitions.

And now we have 4-5 people here they give me a hard time because all of them have understood the requirements and made great logos.

I thank all participents for their work and concepts.
My favorites Designs so far coming from:

1. Oksana
2. Benjie
3. Saimam

I had to delete some really good design concepts because they didn't meet the requirements, that's really too bad.

But we have 3 Words. The main word is Malediven, on that is the focus.
You can put the other word on the same level, but dont put the most uninterested word as main word.

Some do not place the concept to the proof page i send to the best concepts.
Some do not find correct colors.

We will decide who wins the contest tomorrow.

I please favorite 1,2 and 3, do not change anything on your published designs. You cant do it any better.

Just to your Information.
Your concepts does not focus Maldives. It is always small. The other word are big.
I dont like this. Please try to focus the Word Maldives not the other. Thank you.

THIS IS IMPORTANT

Comprehensibility, the logo must refer to the activity of the company: Here => Hotels
This can be done using a symbol or a suitable font.

Unmistakable, a logo transports the corporate image
If it is already used by others (even parts), you cannot establish your own company profile.
You are confused or overlooked.

Memorability, keep it short and simple

Reproducibility, be easily recognizable on products, on fax, stamp, T-shirt, ballpoint pen and from the distance. The logo is the signpost to the company and not an illustration. Good logos meet the highest requirements and are clearly recognizable and legible in a width of 20 mm or smaller.

Requirements, a logo contains main elements and secondary elements. Main elements are the company name and the offered service or product, secondary elements are a slogan or graphic elements.

I don't sell flights, bus rides, even a globe is bullshit.
