Meisterberg.com is a manufacturer of classic car interiors with the focus on European models. Our business is focused on sales directly to the end user. Since we manufacture ourselves and cut out the middle man we are the most competitive supplier of classic car interiors.
We differentiate ourselves from competitors that we offer a high quality product for a fairly lower price than others.
Our target customers are classic car enthusiasts who like to repair their car themself (DIY people). Mostly male from 30-50 years old. Our customers shall perceive our company as an upholstery workshop which provides high quality classic car interiors which are hand made with attention to detail from high grade materials. We give our customer a lot of options in choosing their interior based on to their individual taste which means most of our interiors are custom made.
We are currently in the process of upgrading our website which is expected to completed by the end of May. Along with the upgrade and new design of our website we would like to change our logo.
The color scheme of our website will be white, dark grey like #333333 and red like #660000. Font type for text on website will be Helvetica.
The logo shall consisit of our url meisterberg.com
Attached to this posting is our current logo which has some kind of chrome look.

The logo that you love the most is your old logo :P If you love your old one why go with a different red color combination when you have something that already works?

large logo - on your website
small size with red background may be used on the back of business cards
small size on white background may be used as letter head

Sir Meisterberg, why take this up to 4 weeks? If you can increase the price it will attract more designers so will get a lot of entries even if it's only for a short period of time. Just my opinion though, it would be nice for us, designers, if there are only few joining this contest, this is a guaranteed contest anyway.

Dear Designers,
The mentioned colour scheme of white, grey and red is for information only. It does not mean that the logo needs to be designed in those colors.
The logo does not need to contain a car shape etc.
The logo shall not only used on the website but for letter heads too. Please keep this in mind when designing.
Our current logo which is attched to the listing has some 'chrome' look which we quite like. The new logo could have this chrome look too.
We like the logos of the old English car brands such as Bentley, Rolls Royes, Jaguar, Aston Martin, MG etc. We would like to have a logo similar to theirs. As an addtion it needs to have our website address.
Important for the logo is that it communicates quality, longevity, solidity.
