I need a logo for a web-site dedicated to kids (under 18) paintings, drawings and sketches (watercolor, pencil etc). The logo should be bilingual - one with text in English and the other with text in Russian (so the same logo is shared between 2 language versions). The logo should remind of kids, art, joy etc. Colors should be light (no black font/background). The text should be made in one of the hand drawn fonts (Lobster might be a good choice, but others are possible too) and of course should be the same for both English and Russian text. Favicon and all source files should be provided by the winner.

Text in English: «You Painter»
Text in Russian (cyrillic): «Юный Художник»

1. The text (name) should not be a part of the logo
2. The logo should look solid and professional
3. The logo should refer to kids on one hand and to art/painting on the other. How? You imagine.

Look at the 3 leaders and try to understand why they are at the top. And then create :)

Hi all, thanks for your attempts so far.

To summarize and to provide some guidance for future entries: I liked ideas with having a thumb of a painting or a kid painting smth. This clearly reflects the idea of my future web-site (i.e. gallery of kids paintings). However the logos require further work. If you depict painting instruments think of several - like brush, pencil, marker etc, i.e. not just one of them.

Also the text should not be integrated with the logo, it should be possible to have just logo (for favicon, facebook, avatar etc) and logo with text.
