     Tell your client that his choice is a pure copy, as well most of the top rated designs are copies or overused design, good luck with such designs.
     
     For that prize, uniqueness is a MUST, and uniqueness is a MUST to have a recognizable logo too.

  Md Mousad A. and Moovendhan M. made entries with the exact same graphic logo design ... is there another type of fraud happening here? Does one individual have two different accounts. I could not find a match of design in tineye but comparing the entries from these supposedly two different freelancers which where hidden from each other begs the question ...

  Sir there is few entries from another designer #724 #727 #728 which are the same as the one you want to choose. Your contest was sealed, so no one was able to see other designer's entries. If two designers have the same design, that means both are copies from somewhere. Do you understand my point?

  I am just amazed at some freelancers who are still wondering why I rejected their entries even though, according to them, their designs are custom made!!! It thought it is very obvious why entries get rejected!

     CH, with all due respect, you're saying you are not aware of the fact that some people here know what you like and want better than you do??? And are simply, out of the kindness of their hearts and pure altruism, trying to teach you that their designs are exactly what you want ... Don't tell me you think they're only after the prize ... such a plain, non enlightened and non artistic goal :D

  The client knows all the facts and knows that his choice is based on a well known font, and he still insist on his selection. The client is ALWAYS right, so please respect that. Thanks.

  what part which represent word "outside" and "international". that only font with 2 colours. basic and no concept at all. very dissapointed with this, at least if im not win, my opponent or winner show some concept not only font or typography that not show the meaning of company name, so i feel i deserve to loose because few designers put efforts to think about this. thank you

  Most of the people wear, eat, listen, watch and look like the same set of brands or trends that, among others, designers helped create. So, I've gotta say, it's more than ironic to see the annoyance of the latter by the fact that "plain", "generic" and "overused" stuff tends to be interesting to most of the people out there and some are willing to pay good $$ to be a part of "that world". Say, how many of you wear the same brand of sneakers? You know, the ones with the mark we all know so well. Or at this very moment drink the same sugar ridden soda from a can with a design we all also know so well? Bought them all by accident no doubt ... for a bit higher price than some "non-generic" one sitting right next to it :D

     In the end it's the clients choice for sure ... and he who makes the choices 'suffers' the consequences, a pretty simple logic. We're certainly not to blame for choices made by others, there are a lot of freelancers who don't give in to trends and offer their designs, however 'bad' they might look to others. But, some are definitely guilty of needless finger-pointing on the basis of jealousy. The winning design is not an outright copy or a stock image, it's simply a style and layout that works well, that's how things get to be 'overused', and that's exactly why people who haven't been looking at it on a daily basis for years (like most of the clients), find it interesting. Who knows, maybe some of the 'finger-pointers' are, at this very moment, creating the 'next big thing' to be imitated for years to come ... out of sheer spite towards trends, of course :D

     I totally agree on this. Not pertaining on the contest holder here but, I saw some people say they like a creative innovative catchy logo and in the end, they would choose a standard one..
     
     Made me think if I should just follow the trend or not. Now I'm sending generic ones and a logo design that have my own idea. Just new here but, that's what I've observed.

  There's a lot of designers who came up with a good design, a logo with generic ethnocentric font and overused layout is not worth $500. Hope your client would agree to these points.

  Nice logo but this is too heavy design. In this year most of the world uses the lightweight design of logo, website, UI design. Anyway. Good luck! :-)

     Vlad-Matei D., since my clients are very busy businessmen, they can not see more than, let say 10 concepts at max, so they authorize me to filter the best 10 according to their requirements and preferences. After I select the best 10 which fits their specs, the final call is up to the client.

  i have made over than 40 designs and about 90% are rejected !! now i must say i wish to see the super 5 stars rate designs , and all that i wish they are not generic designs or a deal, now i am setting to watch :-) good luck bro.
