The contest is to design a pdf worksheet for one Arabic letter. This will be used as a template for the rest of the Arabic alphabet. I am more interested in design and layout as the content can be changed. You don’t have to know Arabic to work on this project as all content will be provided. The winning design may have the opportunity to work on the rest of the project/alphabet work sheets.

Things to keep in mind:
• The worksheets are targeted at children so it should be fun and interesting.
• They will be printable worksheets so do not include colours, it should be a stencil concept.
• I am more interested in design and layout as this will be template for rest of alphabet.
• There is the potential to work on a bigger project.
• DO NOT copy other worksheets I am after creativity.
I HAVE INCLUDED AN EXAMPLE OF A WORKSHEET DO NOT COPY USE IT AS A GUIDE PLEASE.
The following must be included:
• The logo Arabic train. Attached
• The letter Alif, ا. It is very similar to a no 1.
• Have the letter ا in a 3d version so children can colour it in.
Include a box for text under or next to the alif. (the text will be provided and the winning entry will add it once all letters are finilized) refer to attatchment
• Have a sketch of a rabbit as it starts with the corresponding letter. (make sure to us an image of a rabbit that can be coloured in) and the word ارنب
• Have one line of the dotted Alif for the children to trace. (refer to example work sheet)
• Have one line blank for the children to practice writing it on their own (refer to example work sheet)

less than 24hrs left to get in any creative designs you may have. remember this is a continuing project as this template will be used for the remainder of the alphabet and the winning entry may have the opportunity to work on that.

from my experience adding too much lines in successful alphabet worksheet layout for children is very distracting .....just to keep it as simple and empty as possible , may be with decoration in the border to make it a bit live .....but nothing more than that.

  thanks for your feedback and for your work. your right i think to many lines is also distracting. im more after different sections in the work sheet rather than to many lines.

  Hi amiraro I like everything you have included in your stencil maybe just rearrange it. try different layouts. Im not sure how it would like but maybe each section in a box for example. or possibly divide page into 1/4, 1/4 has an image another tracing ect. so no need to change the content just the layout. thanks

  Hi amiraro thanks for the effort. Although I like the designs so far I'm after something different. I understand thats a bit hard since its just a stencil. But refer to attachment in brief. I has an example of a worksheet I like. The layout is nice however I want my own content. maybe have a few boxes shapes ect for each part of the stensil. eg image in a section tracing in a section. ect. I guess the challenge is to make it is interesting and appealing as possible for a stensil. Thanks.

I forgot to include that I need to include some text into the design. so please include a speech bubble or a text box ect something creative for some text. the content will be added later once all letters are finilised for the mean time add. "I am the letter Alif, I stand tall, straight and strong"

Hi guys thank you so much for your quick entries. but please have a line for tracing the alif. So it is dotted and the kids can trace it (not3d) and a line for tracing on their own with one alif at the beginning of the line. I will attach another stencil
