I've read the full spec. This is a well-defined robotics simulation challenge and the tech stack maps closely to work I've done before. I have hands-on experience with autonomous robot navigation, path planning algorithms, and Python-based robotics systems — including a deployed line-following robot with sensor-based localisation, real-time path correction, and autonomous decision-making. Extending this to multi-robot 3D simulation with SLAM and CBS planning is a natural step up. For this project I will build: • 3D warehouse environment: multi-floor layout (2+ floors), staircases, elevators, escalators, aisles, loading docks — generated via Trimesh + Shapely and represented as a NetworkX graph • SLAM + localisation: Kiss-ICP LiDAR odometry for each robot to map and localise within the environment • Single-robot pathing: A* on the NetworkX graph • Multi-robot planning: CBS (Conflict-Based Search) for zero-collision simultaneous path execution • Collision avoidance: RVO2/pyrvo2 for real-time dynamic avoidance • Physics simulation: PyBullet • Visualisation: Open3D + Matplotlib showing robot positions, paths, and point cloud map live Delivery in 3 days: fully runnable Python codebase with setup instructions and a demo video.
