Internet-Controlled Button-Pressing Robot Prototype

I’m building a small desktop-sized robot whose single purpose is to press real-world buttons for me while I’m miles away. The device must execute precise, complex multi-axis motions, then recover to a home position so it can be triggered again. I already know it will live on an ESP32, Arduino or a comparable microcontroller, but I need an experienced partner to turn that concept into a reliable, working prototype. Here’s the vision. A lightweight end-effector reaches out, lines itself up, and delivers a repeatable press with enough force to register the button yet gentle enough not to damage it. Everything is driven from a secure web interface so I can log in from any browser, watch the robot’s status, and command a press in real time—no local Bluetooth tethers. Latency, positional accuracy, and a clean user experience really matter. Where I need your help is in nailing down the architecture, selecting motors, drivers, limit switches, and the right structural materials (3D-printed or machined), then assembling, wiring, and bringing up the firmware. A short video demoing the robot pressing a button from a remote web page will be the proof of success.
