UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUP PROJECT
The bible teaches us that God is a witness, missionary, and father to all nations. It is will that all be saved, he is the ultimate missionary who desires that all be saved, worship, and served him. In order the Great Commission to be carried out, missionary work must continue in all the earth. Jesus commanded that we make disciples in all nations, Matthew 28:18-20. God doesn’t segregate, he’s not a politician seeks all cultural backgrounds, race and religions. This is why the disciples where commanded to go into all the earth, this means every place. The Joshua Project, advised there are more than 9,000 people that are Christian from an evangelistical perspective. While this has a good impact, there are many individuals that still need to be reached, and here the gospel. We must continue to push the word of God to all groups and cultural, in all languages to make the impact the Great Commission and scriptures teach us, our efforts are far from where they need to be. This paper will outline points to help solidify the importance of reaching groups from all backgrounds and affiliations. This project will focus on the Tajik, Afghan in the United States, a people group of nearly 8 million that are [url removed, login to view]% Islam with just a few hundred followers of Christ. To do this, I will first present a background on the Tajik, Afghan discussing such things as their history, language, culture, economy, religion, and family structure. Next, I will survey the status of mission work among them including a brief history of missions, the status of the church, the challenges, as well as present strategies. To conclude the project, I will propose a strategy for reaching the Tajik, Afghan. This will be from the perspective of a missionary going to them, organizing work for them, sending laborers to assist and work with them, as well as proposing strategies to assist. I will also take into biblical principles, background information, and consider previous mission results.
