Descripción del proyecto

I have a program that I made using Django, a very simple application. I need you to modify a view and a template that I have to update the rows when we have new records. It is neccesary to update the table without refreshing the whole page.

Details:

This program shows in a list detections of licence plates from a licence plate recognition software.

It uses a database made in SQLite. The data is written into the database with a different program (made in C++).

I need to make a view that is automatically updated when we have a new register in the database.

The django program can be notified about this situation in a way that we can agree with the future programmer of this. It can communicate with the C++ program or we can create a table in the database for communication purposes.

If the new register is marked as an “alarm state” the django view should update the view with something to catch the attention of the user: it can be blinking red part of the screen or something that the programmer can suggest. Also it is necessary to play sound on an alarm (I have the sound file for that). There should be a way of silencing the sound when the user presses a button or something similar.

The programmer will be provided with a sample database and with the django files that are already working.

I think that this is neccesary to be implemented with javascript, or by other thing suggested by the programmer.

Interaction will be easy, as I am a +20 years C++ experienced programmer.

This is how the list looks like: [url removed, login to view]
