Cable Assembly Technician Required for the assembly of custom and bespoke wiring solutions and cable assemblies. Performing a variety of production assembly operations , Soldering , Crimping, Harness and Cable assembly, box and panel build, ranging from repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly Required skills and experience -Ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics -Soldering and crimping -Cable terminations -Assembly of harness boards -Some basic point to point testing -Assembly of cables and installation to drawing, schematics and engineering instructions including prototype builds -Teamwork and good communication skills across levels and groups -Systematic disciplined approach It would advantageous to have the following qualifications -HND/City & Guilds or equivalent in a suitable technical discipline -J Standard / IPC 620 certified electrical assembly technicians The successful candidate will be an active member of a small team making cable assemblies, looms and harnesses. Candidates must be team players, highly motivated with a can-do attitude, with a background in electronics, communication, engineering or production. Immediate Start
