DESCRIPTION Summary Patch is looking for five new members of its delivery team, who can help to bring to life the Patch experience out on the road and to our customers. This role is ideal for actors, photographers or freelancers looking to supplement their income with a flexible schedule. As a delivery driver for Patch, your role isn’t just to deliver plants to our customers but to deliver the ‘Patch experience’. This means that you will: Be the face of Patch to dozens of customers every day and act as an ambassador for our business to everyone you come across Be helpful, cheerful and unflappable! Learn to demonstrate a solid knowledge of our plants, products, and services Support with picking and packing the day’s deliveries and take responsibility for loading your van with the correct items REQUIREMENTS Attributes of a Patch driver You’re friendly and helpful: you’re cheerful, charming and are able to build a great rapport with colleagues and customers. You take pride in your work: your ultimate responsibility is that the customer gets the experience that they expect from Patch and you won’t cut corners to deliver that experience. You love the great outdoors: you’re a nature lover and recognise the positive effect it can have on people, even in a metropolis like London. You can be a startup superstar: Our business is still learning and evolving. You’re proactive in suggesting new ideas and can adjust when things don’t always go to plan. Requirements You are over 25. It’s not that we dislike youngsters: it’s just not possible for us to insure them You have a full, clean UK driving license You have experience of driving in London – experience of delivering in London is not required but is preferable You are happy to be CRB/DBS checked It will make your life easier if you live in London as shifts often begin and/or end at unsociable hours BENEFITS Base salary of £9-10 per hour Additional £3 per hour rewarded if you follow all required processes and if we receive positive customer reviews for your deliveries. £50 per month plant budget so you can Patch up your pad! Hours Up to 40 hours per week. We deliver on Wednesdays and Thursdays, between 12pm and 10pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays, between 8am and 6pm. No agencies please.
