I would like to hire a Proofreader

I've written a novel with police action. it is an gritty earthy novel with meaningful Christian Theology presented in the context of discussion between the two main characters, a Christian woman and a cop who dislikes Christian hypocrites. The setting is a relatively small town in New Mexico where a local drug organization has close ties to a Mexican drug cartel. The two main characters must find a young woman who is seeking to leave the gang and has secretly offered to be a witness for the detective/prosecution to bring down the local crime organization and expose a policeman who "is on the payroll" of the gang. Murder and attempts to kill the detective, car chases, exciting courtroom drama and an action packed shoot-out, as well as original witty humor fill the pages. The dialogue and interaction of the well rounded personalities allow the readers to understand and share emotions of laughter and sadness as the characters move through the entanglements of the plot. The author, a lawyer, recently retired after a trial lawyer career of both prosecution, politics and criminal defense--at different times and phases. The book is approximately 450 pages and has reached the stage of my last edit. My proofreading faulty. I'd like fresh eyes to help with the proofreading.
