Work-out Manager (Must be Coded in C++)

Hello, I'm Msc in Computer Science and Engineering with 4+ years of experience in professional software development. I can create the application in Embarcadero C++ Builder or MS Visual Studio(C++). I would prefer Cpp builder because the application would have no external dependencies, there are free fancy looking gui controls available and I have more experience in it. What exactly should be the user inputs and how complex would the plan generation be? Anyway presenting the plan and the calendar and implementing importing/exporting functions would be no problem. The easiest way of generating a pdf report would be installing a virtual pdf printer so the program can use it for printing pdf files. If you want it to create pdf files without virtual printer that would require using a third party pdf library which would be more complicated. Program being well organized and professional (if you are referring to the user interface) would be no problem, but the visual appearance of the application can be styled (for free) only in Cpp builder. There are no free stylish gui controls for MS Visual Studio (and I don't have licenses for any), so in that case application would have to have that generic gray windows look. Designing complex software-architecture and writing clean reusable code are my passions! The user data part can be done in xml for faster implementation (I prefer pugixml library in this case). You surely need a graphical user interface (at least for the calendar and the user input). Designing graphical user interface in C++ is easy with Qt apps, so I would choose Qt as framework for creating user interface.
