Pre-authorization info from an RDP network port using pure VB6

My goal with this project is to get as much info from a PC/Server running RDP (TCP port 3389). This should include the name of the remote PC, the version of RDP running, the "logon" image and any other information during the pre-authorization negogiation. This means I only need freely given data from the RDP protocol before credentials are needed. I don't want all of RDP, only a very small part. Whenever possible, I like to use freely available source code, so much of this could just be C++ to VB6 conversion. If you are into networking, RFCs, security and things like that, you'll be a perfect fit for this project. There is a lot of source code available since RDP RFCs are numerous, but FreeRDP seems to be one the better sources.
