Required Critically discuss the role of Leadership in Change Management using examples from different organisations to support your arguments. A maximum of 2500 words is required. (Please note this excludes title, bibliography, references and quotations) 3. Guidance The purpose of this summative assessment is to test your ability to apply theory to the practice of leadership and change management. It will not be sufficient to just write a descriptive report, no matter how good an account you provide. It is important, therefore, that you draw on and refer to appropriate theory for your critique. It may be useful to use a specific organisation or leader to base your critique on. 4. Coursework assignment assessment criteria • Knowledge and understanding of key leadership and change management theories. 45% o Students to provide detailed knowledge and understanding of the key leadership and change management theories and models • A critical discussion of the key theories of the role leadership in change management. 45% o A critical discussion on the role of the leader in the change management process • Presentation and structure of report, including correct spelling and application of the Harvard Referencing System where appropriate. 10% Your Answer should include as a minimum: o Introduction to the subject o A short discussion about change management and leadership o A critical discussion on the role of leadership in change management using evidence from research o Conclusion
