Hello, To create a navigation app, we will need first create a Maps Javascript API and then generate the API key from google. Then to overlay a shapefile into the map, we will first have to convert it into GeoJSON format and then we can enter that data into the maps in our app. This whole process will take place in the background with API calling that we will create for the app. Now with entering the GeoJSON files into the map, users will be able to see the routes on the map and can navigate through it according to their location, as they move along the route their location will be updated in the map in real time. To develop this app, technology to be used would be Kotlin with android studio and it’s SDKs, and for using map we will need to integrate Map APIs and the backend of the app with Laravel and firebase database.
