DASTARDLY is an all-volunteer TV sitcom pilot that was born out of the COVID quarantine. After productions closed in March and talented people from across the world were sent "home" I posed an idea to a Facebook group I follow. "What if we made a comedy to bring a smile to these dreary times. More than 150 actors and crew members agreed. We used our own equipment and donated our time and talents, but there are some skills we realize we will need to pay for. To the point, we don't have any cartoonist or animators in our group and I want to make a 30-second animated Title Sequence (show opener) and introduce 6-7 of our recurring characters, assuming we make more than the pilot episode.
I am trying to make the job as easy as possible and have a solid example of what I want it to look like.
I need to turn my storyboard ([login to view URL]) into a Black & White line art cartoon in the style of the attached example (Line Art [login to view URL]; [login to view URL]).
I have photographs of the actors, in costume, and will need those actors turned into cartoon versions of themselves (caricature-style) by whoever gets the job.
As an all-volunteer / VERY VERY low budget project I am afraid we don't have much to spend.
There has been NO-BUDGET set for this Animated Sequence project. Please DO NOT ask me what our budget is. The entire show is being completed for free. No one is paying anyone for this pilot. We are just doing this for the community as a public service volunteer opportunity.
That being said, we know we will have to pay for this specific project
This will be a "LOWEST and BEST" bid situation where we will compare prices and quality and choose the BEST provider with the LOWEST price. That means that a higher bid may win if the quality of work is better than a lower bidding competitor.
The winning bidder will also receive a post-credit, useful for references and IMDb qualification.
