Freelance Animator: Virtual You, Katie Dale-Everett Dance

Katie Dale-Everett Dance create works and projects that are accessible and educational to a wide range of people. Through the medium of dance and technology the company challenges opinions, social conventions, and probe notions around interconnectivity. We have received a Project Grant to create 3 sections of Virtual You, a new work which explores relevant & vital themes around online safety made for 11-16 years, teachers, parents, schools, youth centres and theatres. We are looking for an animator who is interested in developing connections within dance and or educational settings to create a 30 second 3D animated trailer to be used in schools & 2D avatars for each lead company member (4) to use on their social media profiles. The role would be suitable for an artist based in the South of England but this is not compulsory. The timescale of the role is as follows: September 2018: Avatar creation. October 2018: Trailer creation (one day attending a rehearsals at The Point, Eastleigh or in Sussex is encouraged). We are able to pay £500 in total for the work. We hope this is a position that will evolve with the development of the project in 2019.
