Climate change research project

Researchers / writers required to search for notable published articles / papers on one of the following points / questions, and provide brief summary of each article, and reference all material (author, date, publisher) Note: All work including research and writing to be undertaken with a non bias view regarding climate change, and be fact based, and should represent either side of the climate change debate if supported by evidence.

• Who are the beneficiaries of and the investors in the climate change belief? – research who benefits from societies believe in climate change and the reduction of carbon as a mitigation to climate change. e.g. beneficiaries are climate scientist, universities, accountancy firms, legal firms, renewable energy sector, etc list and research estimated value of financial benefits received for each category.

• What are the cost estimates of mitigation? – research and report on the reported dollar cost estimates to society of climate change mitigation

• Are the changes in temperature normal variances over history? – is the change out of the normal in the history of earth? - research and report on past average temperatures, record cold and hot temperatures, and snow falls, provide graphs of average temperatures as far back as recorded,

• Has there been any environmental damage and or benefits to the environment attributed to climate change? – research and identify articles stating damage or benefits that occurred to the environment as a result of temperature change and comment on whether they are evidence-based or not

• Has the predictions been correct? – research the predictions made over the last fifty years regarding the environmental damage or changes that would result from climate change, and analyse if they became true or not.
