We currently have the job descriptions that you can see on the website. These are very boring Job Descriptions. They are factually correct and since they are Job descriptions they are not compelling and thus attract insufficient candidates. I would want each of them converted into a Job Advertisement. An advertisement is something that is compelling, hypnotic and to the target audience results in the person wanting to know more and wanting to have that job. There is a massive difference. This is all about HR 4.0 a la Industry 4. Job Descriptions are dead, Job Advertisements are the new gig. So my end goal - a career page that has a selection of high level job role adverts which are talking in general about a category / type of role (but not specific) eg Web developer, Developers, Marketeer, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Support Consultant, Designer, Business Development, Applications Consultant The purpose of this is a lot of people especially new graduates and others entering the work force have no idea what they want to do and may have no real idea about all the different roles available out side the more traditional: Accounting, Sales, Marketing etc - then you click through to specific job advertisements within that category eg Applications Consultant These are more specific to real roles we trying to fill and / or constantly recruit into and are typically product specific SunSystems Applications Consultant - English speaker SunSystems Applications Consultant - Chinese speaker ERP Functional Consultant - English speaker ERP Technical Consultant - English speaker Retail Applications Consultant - English speaker - and then from there if you could click through to our recruitment system (the ATS) and that would have more of a job description so its got more detail than above, and hopefully not too boring These are the ones you see on our website when you click through. The current ones are boring and consequent to doing the compelling job advertisement this text could be jazzed up a lot. So the job is all pure text, one could says its creative writing, though I really am no expert in categorising what it is apart from I want some Job Advertisements! If you are interested I recommend you pick 1 old boring job description and create a hypnotic / compelling Job Advertisement. When that goes well we'll do more.
