Create a Press Release

We are about to launch our Kickstarter campaign in the next month and are looking for someone with journalism experience to create a press release that we can use to distribute to various media platforms prior to our launch. We have completely evolved the linen shirt that everyone knows and loves but without its well-renowned shortcomings. "The secret is in our original fabric that has been woven using our proprietary technique. "The Villager" will be the world's first European casual shirt made out of 80% Natural Superfine Merino Wool and 20% Bamboo Viscose. Whilst the shirt isn't made out of linen, we have made it look like linen, feel better than linen and completely outperform linen. The result is the creation of a shirt that is wrinkle resistant, odour resistant, breathable and ultra soft. Why 80% Natural Superfine Merino Wool and 20% Bamboo Viscose? The simple answer is science! It is wrinkle resistant - "At a microscopic level, each Merino Wool fiber is like a coiled spring that returns to its natural shape after being bent. This gives Merino Wool garments a natural resistance to wrinkles". (Griplas) Merino Wool is also fine and soft to the touch. Its softness is directly correlated to the thickness of the fabric. The finer the fabric, the easier it bends to touch and therefore the softer it becomes. We chose the finest of the fine, our ultra-fine Merino Wool is only 16.5 microns in diameter (of the few shirts available made out of fine Merino Wool, they are typically 17.5-18.5 microns). It is breathable and odour resistant - Odour is caused when sweat remains on the skin and bacteria develops. Wool has an amazing ability to be more efficient than other fabrics at absorbing moisture and evaporating it away. This process significantly reduces the ability for bacteria to develop from sweat. This also makes the fabric incredibly breathable. Bamboo Viscose is a fabric derived from natural Bamboo pulp. It is light, breathable and feels silky to touch. This is what allows The Villager to feel incredible against your skin. Note: We only use bamboo viscose manufactured via environmentally friendly methods. The HELONE fit is a slimmer fit than a "standard fit" but looser than a “slim fit”. This ensures that the shirt has a modern and tapered look but also gives you room to enjoy life! It will be available in 2 colours, both long- and short-sleeve - Mediterranean Blue and Texturised Stone.
