I made a 4 HD cams recorder using beaglebone before. I can do the same using raspberry or tinkerboard. Arduino wont do it.

Hello I'm Robert Young, I have 30+ years of experience writing code, most of it writing graphics drivers, and interfacing to digital imaging hardware. A recent project involved displaying live video from either of two cameras on a remote Raspberry PI to an Android mobile device. I know my bid is high but I've already done some research for your project and the cost of the hardware alone is $364 AUD (can provide links to hardware with price if desired), and I was hoping to make about $300 USD ($410 AUD) for this project, but that would put me over the limit of $750 AUD, so I'm cutting my profit to stay within your budget. Be suspicious of anybody that quotes you a lot less for the hardware, the compute module 3 is the only version of the RaspberryPI that has two camera ports. Anybody with a total bid of about $400 AUD or less, either doesn't know what they are doing, or is trying to scam you. I CAN do this for you and can do it relatively quickly, when considering the time quoted to complete the project, remember ordering and receiving the parts is going to take at least a few days. I am semi-retired, I'm here on Freelancer to supplement my retirement income, so if you hire me you will be getting top notch experience at a really great price. Hey I can help you out, I have got good experience working with cameras or multiple cameras, and recording the data and storing to a sd card, check my profile where I worked for wireless transfer of data. I can understand what you want, I enjoy bike trips and have travelled almost 2500km for a trip, and I am a bike traveller and also made videos with mobile cameras but not with fixed cameras. I would love to do it like my project if you give me an opportunity. I can do a lot more things , like adding things to your helmet also, getting live preview also, and you must be powering the Raspberry pi from the bike's battery, sometimes we connect mobile or our phone battery charger to our bike's also, as I have in mine, and suggest you with correct charger for Pi also and current consumptions. Hello, You're project is simple and straight forward, and the problem you are trying to solve has already been solved and is available commercially. You can buy an HD front/rear camera for a motorcycle for under $200 USD on Amazon. With that in mind, I wonder what it is about the RPi + these 2 cameras that fascinates you? If the cameras are USB I can get you some working code quickly. The wiring I suppose depends on the camera you buy off the shelf. What sort of motorcycle do you have? There are so many design and motivational questions to ask about this project. I know I can quickly bring this to life for you - if you're interested please contact me so we can flesh out our ideas more quickly together, and see how much work is really involved here.
