Software that reads in text files and counts the number of occurrences of a word

I am very proficient in c, c++. I have 16 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 6 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, the language is c++ under linux. I used c++ to make many great projects, for example, I made the tools which can convert java files to c++ scripts which has the same effect, of course garbage collection included. I also made our own mobile game using c++, I even can show you the demo of client. Trust me, please let expert help you.

HI, I offer that : I would do the sorted linked list + trees, Not sure about this TIME utility, never used it , guess its simple, but no guarantee... Operation count - counting the number of string comparisons guess would be fine... Good luck choosing freelancer ;)

I am a computer engineer and during my college days I have done similar assignments and hence I think I would be the perfect man for this job. I'll write a C code to read a text file and display the list of words in the file and the number of occurrences of each word. Will also check words which has an apostrophe (they're, etc). Will remove all punctuation and the output will be lower case letters.

I have been doing C++ coding for 2 years in various online contests. So I will be able to do this efficiently.
