System Manager C# Application

Develop a Visual Studio C# application that provides a User Interface, Communications and data logging functions (serial or IP connection) to our embedded controller. The new System Manager will be modelled around our existing System Manager look which is an old visual basic application. Refer to document 300-900-001 System Manager, section 1,2, 4. An important feature of the System Manager is the COMMS trace window which allows us to visually inspect the data packets between the System Manager and the controller. It also allows us to send and receive packets from this display. Note we can supply the old System Manager as a reference but many of the features and UI are now obsolete. There are many more Configuration and Status screens required in the new application. We can supply the source code in C (code from the controller) that generates and decodes all of the packets of data between the system manager and controller. This will be a huge help in saving development time as it should be able to be ported into the new app will little work. We can supply a spread sheet of all of the screens (User Interface) that need to be generated and also access to our web site server that provides a similar function although it is still being developed. You will need to be a Visual C# (2017) expert with serial and IP comms experience. Previous VB developer took about 1 month to develop and had to design the UI and code all of the packets manually. The contractor must have good English skills, both verbal and written. There will be an option to write a User Manual for this application. We can supply a controller with serial connection for development purposes. The contractor must be available for at least one-month full time to finish this application and dedicate all of his/her time on this project. Time is of the essence.
