I am an active duty Marine separating on Okinawa after five years of service. I have been fixing bicycles as a hobby for over three years and am now ready to start a business that I can transition into when I get out of the Marine Corps. After speaking with a local company that rents bikes, the manager said he is happy to suggest my service to his superiors. I would like to hire a professional who can write the contract for my proposal so that he can present it as a beneficial service to his company's upper management. I have outlined the basics about the service that I want to provide in the attached document. But here is a recap of the most important details:
- the program starts with a company that wants me to maintain their fleet of seven bicycles.
- every two weeks I exchange all seven bicycles with seven freshly serviced and cleaned bikes that are in functionally new condition.
-The service will begin upon payment of $3,000 and will continue for 12 calendar months from the initial payment.
- If the location that I exchange the bicycles are at is north of Nago or south of Naha, then the service will cost $3,500 for 12 months. The additional $500 is waived if the company wants me to service additional sets of seven bicycles.
- As long as a bicycle was dropped of as part of a previous swap, I will swap it for a fresh bicycle in literally any condition. This is what makes my service truly hassle free and the main point that I will be selling it on.
I am open to input on specifics around these points. But the most important thing is that I make it clear I am providing companies a no-hassle maintenance program for their fleet for which they will never have to worry about changing or even pumping up a tire again.
