Zabaware creates artificial intelligence software called Ultra Hal Assistant. Ultra Hal Assistant is capable of holding intelligent conversations with the user and helping with various organizational tasks. Most of its advanced AI functions are accessible through an ActiveX control with 83 different methods. Ultra Hal Assistant includes a program called the Ultra Hal Brain Editor. The Ultra Hal Brain Editor is a development environment suited to editing the VBScript Hal uses along with Hal's databases. It has 8 built in editors to edit each of the different types of database file the software uses. It includes a basic debugger to aid in development. Ultra Hal Assistant along with the Brain Editor can be freely downloaded from [login to view URL] The Ultra Hal Brain Editor and the ActiveX control with 83 methods currently have no well written documentation. Zabaware is looking for an experienced technical writer who is proficient with Visual Basic and VBScript to document each of the 83 methods and write documentation for the Ultra Hal Brain Editor application. Most of the functions of the Ultra Hal Brain Editor and the ActiveX DLL are documented by many different people in many different posts on a public forum at [login to view URL] It will be the job of the writer to pull all of this information together in a standard format, figure out and document any missing information, and create an indexed and easy to use help file.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
