Hello, I am looking for someone to help me build / write my ebook/online course. I want to create an online course but I dont know how. I need to think through the process, how to set this up, what should I teach and determine if I should even pursue this. My course would revolve around my travel goals in 2018. In 2018, I made a goal to travel once a month on a small salary while working a full-time job in corporate America. By the end of the yr I managed to visit a total of 22 destinations (10 international, 12 domestic) trips for leisure. After calculating all of my travel expenses for the entire yr, I spent less than $3100 total for all 22 trips, that $140/trip. Ultimately, what I taught myself this year was to travel within my means, and developed a method that I helped me to interpret any website and create my own deals anywhere. This method not only applies to travel but to anything in general, I used this same method to help me save almost $10k this yr, and this same method to no longer have to pay my student loans. So, what do you think? Do I have something to work with here?

First of all, congratulations, you got to do what most people struggles with: saving up. So, if you want my opinion, yes, you've got something to work with. On the first place, we should develop a guideline about your method, which would explain these sections: how you planned your trips, how you searched for offers, how you saved up all your money, how you managed to work and find time to travel while earning a low salary. I could write create that guideline and the following manual for your method, but I would need you to send me all the details of how you did it. When it comes to the building of the book, I think the best idea would be to divide it in several units which would correspond to every section I mentioned before and then write up the text for every single one of them.

As someone who has done a good deal of travel to some rather far flung places, I find this idea very interesting. The trick will be in A) challenging others to do something similar, and B) offer some unique tips for this kind of project that are not readily available elsewhere. As a teacher, I am familiar with setting up learning objectives, creating projects that will keep your readers engaged in learning and assessing what they have learned. (It is not important that you know they have learned, though that might be nice when it comes to advertising. What is critical is setting up a way for your readers to assess their own learning so that they feel like they have got real value for the dollars they have spent.) I also have an idea for a way you can start this project, build some interest and test the waters for an ebook and ecourse, with little investment in time or money. I may be new to Freelancer without a list of recommendations, but as a teacher, blogger, writer and world traveler, I think I could do a great job of getting you off to a great start.
