Hello everyone, We are looking for a highly skilled, meticulous, talented and proficient ENGLISH-GERMAN translator/copywriter to write the copy of an illustrated but technical sales catalogue of 84 pages and approximately 11.000 words. Only bids from native Germans residing in Germany will be accepted. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING A BID!! The catalogue should not be translated literally but will need to be adapted to contemporary German in a convincing commercial language and with a fluent sales story, as if the copy had been written in German in the first place. Excellent copy writing skills and being a native German speaker are absolutely essential for this job. You will need to translate and write the entire catalogue manually and really work on the copy to delivery a high quality result. To help you with the job, we will provide a previous German version of the catalogue for you to become familiar with the subject. Reading the previous catalogue is essential for a correct use of the technical terms and frases. Also, we will be available to you for questions and doubts during the entire process. For the translation/copywriting job we will supply a PDF document of the English version of the catalogue, the translated texts can be returned in a simple Word document. Please see attached sample for reference. Your translations will be inserted into the layout and sent to you again for a final round of proof reading. Experience in technical translations (especially architecture and engineering) will also be valued. Please place your bid and write us a few personalized lines why you consider yourself the perfect candidate for this project. If you submit a few translated paragraphs from the sample PDF to value your translation/copyrighting skills your bid will receive preference over all others that don’t. Your translation/copy will be proof-read by the Marketing director (native german) who’s opinion and review will be decisive for your rating.
