Set up legacy MFC solution In VS19 with latest build tools

I am the product manager for a product that was written many years ago by someone else. The product hasn't been updated significantly in years. The solution can be compiled in VS17 using v120 platform toolset. However, I am trying to move it to VS19 using the v142 platform toolset. When I do so, it either doesn't compile or won't run. I would like to get it set up in VS19 with the v142 toolset so that I can look at implementing Codejock ToolKit Pro in order to modernize the look of the application. The project will be first to get the solution set up in VS19 using the v142 toolkit. Then, optionally, there may be an opportunity for you to work on implementing ToolKit Pro in order to update the application.

And also I am familiar with converting project. I have converted some project using boost other libraries. I have deep knowledge in MFC libraries and extensions.
