We need to transfer raw/handwritten data into an excel spreadsheet. Data represents our physical inventory of food and beverage items we have in stock. The job is to identify pertinent data from each page and input this information into an excel spreadsheet. There is a total of 86 pages of raw data to extract the data from.
If we accept your bid, I will ask that you send output for the first four pages of count sheets to me within three days of bis acceptance. You can continue to work on through the entire 86 pages, but that way I can give you some feedback regarding your product. It could be disappointing to have you get through all 86 pages and have it. This is not a mandatory requirement, but a suggestion for producing the best quality. Better to find out sooner than later that you were not in compliance with one of the guidelines listed above.
We expect all of the work to be complete five days after the acceptance of the bid. Please do not bid if you can not meet this requirement.
## Deliverables
1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
The expectation is to have a three column spreadsheet. The columns will be:
-Page Number (the page number of the pdf file…not what might be written on the page)
-5 or 6 digit item number
-Actual physical count
Picture is worth 1000 words. Attached is a sample of four of the pages. I created a sample of what the finished product should look like for those four pages.
Look at the sample sheets along with the corresponding data. Here are some hints on how to do this successfully:
a. Only item numbers with hand written counts need to be entered.
b. There is no need to enter item numbers that do not have an actual handwritten quantity written next to them.
c. You will see on page four that the entry could use some clarity. I made a note in the cell next to the qty. If you have to guess on what the data is, indicate as such with a note in the fourth column.
d. Even though I made a note in the fourth column, please refrain from using Alpha characters for the fields in the first three columns. The values entered into the first three columns should be integers only. Do not add words like “cs??, “box??, or “each??.
e. Do not utilize merged cells or borders or fill coloring.
f. If you have a choice of capturing the five digit number or a six digit number, choose the six digit number.
h. There will be occasions when the hand written quantity is adjacent to more than one item number (as seen on pg four of the sample). In this instance, use the closest item number.
I will supply the entire raw data set in .pdf once the bid is accepted.
