First of all, we want to drive our 21.5'' LCD using Beaglebone Black. LCD's datasheet added on attachment. We were studying on this project with DS90C387 IC which is converting TTL signals to dual lvds signals. We obtained a good image on the screen. So, we think that the circuit has worked successfully. But we have a problem with brightness. We drive the screen backlight with using AL3065 IC and backlight is working with full power. When we connect the screen with beaglebone, brightness is looking too low as you see the picture on attachment. We are disconnect the beaglebone and drive the screen with any Intel based X86 board. This time the screen brightness reached true state. We drive the backlight with same circuit and same power on both X86 and Beaglebone. So we want to reach that high brightness image with Beaglebone Black. If you need any extra information, feel free to contact us.

I have good experience with beagle-bone. I should be able to help you investigating and fixing this issue. Probably it is in the PWM setup, and its connection to the brightness node. And you need to check other kernels first.
