Circuit board design / reverse engineer

Hopefully a through hole component PCB ... if there are no programmable ICs, should be pretty straight forward. 20+ years in the PCB industry in manufacturing and assembly. If I could see a picture of the board before accepting the project, maybe get a board in hand once the project is accepted, 20 days to deliver seems reasonable. Hi, This is my daily activity on my office. I designed avionics part based on reverse engineering from old Avionics module. usually because it needs longer time to order new one or because that modules mostly using obsolete part. so, to be able to create a new board, I define based function of every IC in Board, and if it's contain microcontroller ( which is very difficult to reverse Engineered), I only define it's block diagram and test all of it's feature and functionality. Instead of make precisely same board, I prefer design new board which has same functionality, Input/Output socket, Board dimensions, So, it will compatible with older part but has the whole circuit different. For your case, I think it's simple circuit at that dimensions, so I guess we can design exactly same circuit. just send your board to me and let me help you design the new board. I love to do reverse engineering but its quite difficult to estimate the budget for this job unless I see the board's image. I can do this job if you can assist in getting the images properly or send one board (working or non working condition) . I have been doing this since many years as and when needed. Please show the pictures of the board you are planning to replicate and will do it. We can discuss and negotiate the price. If its an easy job, will adjust the price accordingly. Hi, I have experience in reverse engineering PCB, double or multilayer, the process I use is the following. 1 - Component removal and identification, if the components are SMD with no marking I measure it using a LCR meter. 2 - Solder mask stripping - Solder mask is removed and the copper pattern is scanned in high resolution. 3 - PCB layout convertion - Using the scanned layers the copper pattern is created using a professional EDA software, I use altium designer for it. 4 - Schematic capture - Using the components identified in item 1 and the copper connection from item 3. 5 - Generate manufacturing files - Export the layout in gerber format, BOM in xls, schematics in PDF, or other format you need in your process. I can help you finding a manufacturer from China or US. Can you send me a picture of the board? so I can give you a correct estimated price for reverse engineering it. Note that for multilayer boards reverse engineering is a destructive process, I will have to delaminate all layers to scan each one. if you have any question please let me know.
