Scope: To use 2 Microchip RN4871 bluetooth modules in beacon mode. There must be NO PAIRING of the devises as the project is used for presence logging of slowly moving equipment passing a check point , each having their own RN4871 module set to beacon TX. The RN4871 module set to beacon RX will receive the beacon TX package. Project: The two modules will communicate through a standard UART interface connected to a MCU. The MCU on one module will be transmitting a data package periodically. The other module will be receiving the package and making it available at the UART output for a MCU to read. What needs to be done: Code to Set up the two RN4871 units in beacon mode (RX/TX) code to set up communications packages sent and received via standard UART
