I need a reliable, well-presented host to stand at the reception desk of my corporate gathering in New York City on Sunday, 9 June, from 5:40 p.m. to 9 p.m. Attendance will be under fifty people, so the flow is manageable, yet I still want a smooth, professional first impression for every guest who walks through the door. Your focus will be: • Checking in guests as they arrive (cross-reference our printed list or digital spreadsheet). • Registering any last-minute attendees not already on the list and adding their details accurately. A friendly greeting, efficient badge or wristband hand-off, and a quick point toward the bar or seating area are all it takes to set the right tone. Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can review the guest list and layout together. Experience with small corporate events, strong verbal communication, and confident use of simple check-in software or Google Sheets will make this an easy evening for you. Once doors close, hand back the updated guest list, and you’re done. Let me know about your past front-of-house or registration experience and confirm you’re available for the full time block.
