Please read this carefully before bidding and understand what my expectations are. If you simply do advertising don’t bid. I need a proven track record of marketing mobile applications and driving downloads. Your milestones will be achieved by some number of downloads that we both agree to.
Let me give you a history, we recently released a mobile game in December which we believe has some potential with the right marketing. We hired a local marketing company which wasn’t specialized in mobile release. They were paid several thousand dollars, and as of right now we can account for about 60 downloads. With spending this amount of money, we believe their approach, and /or plan is not working and is not acceptable and we do not want to continue burning money with such little downloads.
We know the company has tried is:
• Facebook Posts
• Facebook Advertising
• Twitter Posts
• Google Adwords
• YouTube videos
We are seeking and expert individual in this field that can do a 1 month marketing campaign for our application and drive tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of downloads. We are new to this field and rely on this individual to use his experience to drive this traffic. If we can get onto Google Top downloads, awesome, but our expectations are reasonable.
After such a horrible start and waste of money we started to do a lot of reading ourselves. The internet is full of a lot of information and strategies people use and get thousands of downloads.
What we believe and you can correct us and formulate your own plan to execute once we agree to it.
1) Our google play listing should be optimized, title, descriptions, keywords. We need to appear somewhere within the top 15 when doing a search. We will look to you to optimize this.
2) SEO
3) Facebook posts
4) Facebook Ads
5) Twitter Posts
6) Blog posts (Pinterest, Reddit, Tumblr, StumbleUpon)
7) Forums
8) Get reviewed by some sites
9) Expand are social presence
10) YouTubers
11) Backlinks
These are just some of the things we read, but we are sure there are many more driving factors.
We need someone who truly specializes in driving downloads in bursts and organic users. We will ask to document all tools and approaches used and we will measure the analytics to understand what worked and didn’t work. Your success will be measured by downloads.
I want to chat with the individual so we can review what has been already done, review the game so you understand it, and if you also feel it has potential and we can agree on expectations we can move forward. Afterall you need to believe in the game your goign to market.
