Drawing logos for use on website

I'm looking to hire someone to digitally draw up a logo to use on a website and maybe things like business cards and posters. Illustrator is my preferred software for the vector graphics. The basic design of the logo has already been set down so not much 'design' will be involved. Still, I'll be looking for the winning bidder to show some flair in the final product.

The logo to be done up is a couple of simple shapes with nine capital letters underneath in Roman script. There is nothing too fancy with this logo. Maybe some slight shading and some drop shadows. Someone with the necessary skills could probably do the prototype design in 10 minutes.

It will be necessary to do one or two variations (e.g. black on white, white on black). I'll be needing a banner and a background (probably just white with some silhouettes of part of the logo) for the website, as well as maybe a smaller graphic or two.

There is the opportunity for further work to be done after this which is a little bit more complicated (e.g. stuff with gradient shading and some 3D effects, icons, more web graphics). Please note, however, that your bid should only be for the first logo. I'll consider taking on the winning bidder for further work depending on how this project goes.

I'm looking for a professional designer with fluent English.

Bidders should be able to show me samples of their work.

Please note that I'll be posting a project for someone to design a website and potentially be the webmaster. It would be great if the same person could do both projects but it is by no means vital.
