I am looking for someone who can develop an application FROM SCRATCH, which is to be used on IPhone and Android and any other device that supports internet in Kuwait. This application is all about traffic; basically how I want to work is as follows. The application will be for free, available on the Apple Store, Android store, and downloadable from a website that I want to create that will have the same name as the app itself to any (I will need help with that to, to initiate the website, and design and launch it too)
I am not looking for someone who is amateur, this is a top notch application and I am trying to hire someone who is professional and has previous wealthy experience with such applications.
My offer: 1,500USD +
My offer will largely depend on the effort and if you met my criteria, if you do something alright and I believe its fit you’ll get 1500USD if you do something extraordinary you might end up getting 5000USD.
How do I want this application to work?
1. A person will download the application and register/sign up as a member in order to start using the application.
2. Everything is for free.
3. Once the person opens the application, all the routes of Kuwait (6 ring roads, and 9 highways, and many other popular routes that are exposed to traffic a lot shall be in a list) displayed in a creative and simple way to use. Here is an example.
1st Ring Road - Direction Kuwait City to Salmiya 1st Ring Road - Direction Salmiya to Kuwait City
Fahaheel Express Highway 30 – Direction Fahaheel to Kuwait City Fahaheel Express Highway 30 – Direction Kuwait City to Fahaheel
4th Ring Road – Direction Salmiya to Sulayba
4th Rind Road – Direction Sulayba to Salmiya
Each route (I have the routes all down I just need you to create the place on the app where were going to insert all the data) will be in both directions, let me give you an example, meaning if there is a highway that connects New York to DC, then this highway will have two slots, one for each direction.
4. Once the user sees all the routes, user should select the routes that he is going to take and leave a comment on each slot, a comment attached with a color. A color initially, that is in the same series of light of a traffic light.
RED will indicate BAD TRAFFIC
YELLOW will indicate NORMAL TRAFFIC
GREEN will indicate SMOOTH TRAFFIC
5. Basically then the user will have put a comment like
Route Comment Give it a signal
4th Ring Road – Direction Salmiya to Sulayba
Traffic is alright, took me half hour from Salmiya to sulayba YELLOW
But in fact he doesn’t have to enter all that, once he clicks on the route, the first option given to him is to choose a signal color, then he is given an option to comment. The comment is optional, but the signal is mandatory.
6. When other users log on to the application, they will select routes and find on the route a color which will give them a broad picture of what this route looks like whether bad traffic, normal traffic, or smooth traffic. If they wanted further info, then the click on the route and they can view all the comments and the time it was posted (2 minutes ago, 5 minutes ago) this will give them a detailed picture.
7. And it goes on, so the traffic is monitored by the users inputs into the app, it doesn’t work with GPS or anything like that. The whole idea of this app is for it to be dynamic and fast, easy and simple to use. People who want to get from one place to another and check the traffic before they go.
8. This is a basic overview of how the applications work, but there are much more attention to detail but this I will enclose on the next level.
