Build a Website

FIRST PROJECT/SHORT TERM: I am looking for someone to design a simple four or five page website for my new lawn care company. I want it to be simple yet professional looking. I don't want it to be too flashy with unnecessary bells and whistles. It is more important for the website to be functional and informative than for it to look "cool" or edgy. Simply put, I want my prospective customers to be able to go to the website, get all of the information they will need in order to understand what services we provide to help them decide if my company is the right fit for them, to be able to fill out and submit a form to request more information and to download a few different PDF files (annual lawn service contract, spring clean-up service agreement, payment information form) that they can then print, fill out and mail to me. I will provide the content for the website, the PDF files that prospective customers will be able to download and drawings of how I want the forms to be laid out and formatted. I would even be OK with the designer using a free website template as a starting point and then altering/customizing it a little bit to make it unique to my company. And there are a few different websites that I like that can be used as a model for my site so you can also use that as a starting point instead of a free template. This project should take no more than 8 to 12 hours in total. I already have the domain name registered and have a hosting plan with [login to view URL] so all you have to do is design the site. I should also have the logo designed before you start designing the website as well as some other images that can be used. ***Deadline: I will be sending out my direct mail advertisements/letters on January 24th and the letters will be directing the prospective customers to the website for more detailed information or to download the PDF files so the final version of the website must be finished by Sunday, January 24th. ***Requirements: I want the website designer to create the website using Adobe Dreamweaver because that is the software I use and I want to be able to use Dreamweaver when I change/update the content from time to time. ***Prerequisites: I would like to see at least one or two websites you've designed within the last year or so before I choose whether or not to hire you. After I hire you I would first like to see a few different design concepts/layouts and then I will choose which one I would like you to go with. So this is the first project I need for someone to complete. I would like to be quoted for this project and then pay the designer on January 24th or whenever the project gets done if it is finished before the deadline. SECOND PROJECT/LONG TERM: Sometime in February I would like some more advanced features added to the website and it would be nice to be able to use the same web designer. So while the first project isn't very complicated and isn't a high paying gig there will be plenty of opportunities with me to expand your portfolio and to make much better money. I am also working on other business ventures in the near future so if I like your work in this first project I'll continue to come to you for all of my other programming and website design needs.
