Express Cleaning Service System The system must have the following features: • Look and Feel: o English/ Arabic interface o An interactive, user friendly interface o Offline Web-based application, (DB backups) • Org: o Ability to have different branches with different setup (optional) • Customers: o Ability to add customers details such as (Name, Location, Organization, Contacts, Loyalty program, etc.) o Ability to have a loyalty program, where points are being counted based on the money spent o Ability to manage (add or delete) different types of customers (Individual, Labors, Corporate, Hotel) • Operations: o Ability to manage (add or delete) Category Group (Male Garments, Female Garments, Underwear, Accessories, Household) o Ability to manage (add or delete) Services Group (Dry Cleaning, Ironing, House Cleaning) o Ability to manage (add or delete) Invoice Type (Express, Normal) o Ability to manage (add or delete) Items Type (T-shirt, Top, Thobe, Suit, etc.) o Ability to manage (add or delete) and track orders statuses (Received, Prepared, In Process, Ready, Delivered, Undelivered) o Ability to use RFID tags for each customer’s garments  RFID will be programmed to the customer number/ invoice number for tracking purposes  Each customer invoice will have an autogenerated slot number on the conveyor where their garments will be assigned to • Accounts: o Ability to manage (add or delete) service pricing based on customer type (i.e. Individual: Dry Cleaning; Express; T-shirt is $4, Labors Dry Cleaning; Express; T-shirt is $3.5), predefined discount percentage can work. o Payment methods (Cash, Credit Card, Prepaid Card)  Cash and Credit Card  Prepaid cards are RFID cards can be provided to customers with prepaid amounts and can be recharged o All required accounting related to sales, plus simple accounts (Expense, Daily Cash Flow) • General: o Ability to keyword search such as (customer names, number, mobile, service type, service sub-category, invoice number o Ability to add custom fields o Thermal printing of invoices (different set of copies per type of service) o Ability to track who did what? (Audit trail) o Segregation of duty, Admin, Manager, Labor User o Documentation of the solutions is to be provided • Reporting: o Quick dashboard o Sales reports with ad-hoc search criteria (i.e. date, period, customers type, customer region, salesman, o Daily status o Customer status (new customers, top customers, etc…) o Undelivered, delayed orders, leftover orders What would be the programming language?
