It should also be flexible enough that changes to the content will not require changes of the design. Feel free to find templates, images, ideas etc on the web to get the job done quickly and cheaply, but make sure that there are no copyright or other legal issues! The call-to-actions should be easy to find and see, but I like designs that are "good to your eyes" - nothing to shiny/weird/etc. Less is more! Please keep the page as simple as possible. No third-party dependencies unless there are really, really good reasons (e.g. Bootstrap), simple file structure, simple files, simple architecture (static page; there should be no need for server-side code), clear structure of code.
