T-shirt design with opportunity for long-term relationship if you do a good job

Hello, We are a t-shirt printing company looking for a new designer. The company that actually prints our shirts has some rules that MUST be followed, so we're currently searching for a graphic artist who can follow these rules. We are currently sending the same design to multiple designers to see how well they fit with us when it comes to their ability to design what we request, their pricing, their turnaround time and most importantly, their ability to follow the conditions we've outlined. If we select you, we're looking to turn this into a long-term relationship. If you're not selected, don't worry. We may keep you on as a backup designer also. Below are conditions our printers require. You must be able to meet ALL of them. If you cannot meet ANY of the following, please let us know so that we don't waste your time. Also, PLEASE have experience in t-shirt design (if you don't know what "trapping" is, this could be a problem). Thank you. 1. Our printer requires the EDITABLE Adobe Illustrator .AI VECTOR file (with layers) in case they need to make last minute adjustments prior to printing. It must be saved in CS2 compatibility. We have a template that we can send you. 2. You can ONLY use fonts that are free for commercial use. We currently find our free commmerical-use fonts at the two links below. When delivering the designs, we require that you send us the actual fonts used in the design. [login to view URL] [login to view URL] 3. We need you to confirm that the designs you create for us will belong to us once delivered and that we are free to use them for commercial use. 4. Unless specified, we prefer that all designs use as few colors as possible. Generally, try to only use 2-3 colors (sometimes 4). We can discuss using more colors for each design we send you. 5. Once you deliver a design to us, you cannot use it in your portfolio or post it anywhere else on the internet. 6. Once we receive the editable AI file, we will give it to our printers to confirm it meets their standards and if not, we will let you know if anything needs to be revised. Thank you very much. Design instructions Please try to use yellow, green and brown as the three main colors for this design. We would like you to show the piece of construction equipment seen in these two pics holding a large, freshly cut tree (or a few smaller trees) and in the background, show a few trees growing. The phrase that will be used on this shirt will say "winning the war against trees". Capitalization and punctuation will be at your discretion depending on whatever looks best with the font you choose.
