I already have a production-ready web app built with React + Vite on the front end and Node.js on the back end. What I now need is a developer who has successfully shipped Capacitor (or Cordova–style) apps to both iOS and Android. Your task is to integrate Capacitor into the existing codebase, set up the native projects, and carry each build all the way through App Store Connect and Google Play Console review until the apps are live. Key points you should know before we start • Target platforms: both iOS and Android. • Icons and splash screens are finished and waiting for you; no design work required. • Native layers must handle geolocation and push notifications, plus maintain the current WebSocket-based real-time features. • Fixed-price engagement with weekly, escrow-funded milestones. • First milestone is purely a technical audit of the repo and a written work plan; full access follows once we agree on that plan. Deliverables (each payable milestone will map to these): 1. Technical review report with build roadmap. 2. Capacitor added, native projects generated, configs for icons, splash, permissions in place. 3. Test builds running on TestFlight and internal testing track with geolocation, push notifications and WebSocket connectivity verified. 4. Submissions to App Store Connect and Google Play Console, plus any iterations required to pass review. 5. Confirmation that both listings are publicly live. Please include links or store screenshots of at least two Capacitor-based (or similar) apps you have published on both stores, and briefly note any challenges you overcame during their review process. Tools you are comfortable with—Xcode, Android Studio, Fastlane, Firebase Cloud Messaging, etc.—are a plus, so feel free to note them. I will be actively available for quick turnaround on certificates, provisioning profiles and store assets. Let’s get this into users’ hands!

Hi there, It's great to see a project focused on bringing a React + Vite web app to mobile. I noticed you're looking for expertise in both iOS and Android publishing, which I've done numerous times. With around 10 years of experience, I’ve worked with Node.js and have a solid grasp of mobile app development. Your goal to publish on both the App Store and Play Store while ensuring geolocation features are integrated aligns perfectly with my background. Some similar things I've built include a regional booking platform for a tutoring company, an internal CRM for a property agency, and a React Native field-reporting app. Let's make this happen! Could you please clarify the following questions to help me better understand the project? Q1: What specific geolocation features do you want to implement in the mobile app? Q2: Are there any particular design guidelines or branding requirements for the app stores? Q3: Do you have any preferred testing devices or platforms for the initial builds?

You need a Capacitor integration that preserves WebSocket real-time features while adding native geolocation and push notifications, then ships cleanly through both stores’ review processes. I work regularly with Capacitor for hybrid deployments and have delivered comparable integrations where native layers coexisted with real-time web features. The audit will flag any WebSocket compatibility risks early, and I’ll use Fastlane to automate builds and submissions, reducing review iterations. For push notifications, I’ll configure Firebase Cloud Messaging with a fallback service worker to ensure delivery even if the app is closed, and test geolocation accuracy across iOS/Android permission models before submission. The 7-day timeline covers all milestones, with the amount reflecting the scope as written; we’ll refine the figure once we walk through the repo audit and any edge cases in the WebSocket-native bridge. A 15-minute call will clarify open points like certificate access or store asset formats.

I’ve helped several clients move React web apps into Capacitor-based mobile builds and take them through both Apple and Google store submissions. A key challenge I’ve seen is ensuring native plugins for geolocation and push notifications work seamlessly alongside WebSocket connections, which can require careful threading and permission setup. For your project, I’ll start with a detailed technical audit of your repo to map out how Capacitor will fit in without disrupting your existing real-time features. From there, I’ll generate the native projects, configure all permissions, icons, and splash screens, then get test builds running on TestFlight and the Play Console’s internal track. I’ll verify geolocation accuracy, push notification delivery (likely via Firebase Cloud Messaging), and WebSocket stability on both platforms before submission. Do you already have your provisioning profiles and certificates set up, or will you need help creating those? Also, are your push notification keys ready for both Apple and Firebase, or should I assist with generating those? Once we finalize the store listings and go live, I’ll provide clear handoff documentation. I’m ready to start with the audit as soon as you share repo access.

You’re already past the risky part of building the product—the main challenge now is making sure the web app behaves reliably once it’s wrapped in native shells and pushed through both review processes. My first step would be the audit milestone: reviewing the React/Vite build pipeline, Node integration points, WebSocket implementation, and any browser APIs currently used that may need native Capacitor plugins. From there I’d map out geolocation, push notifications (FCM/APNs), permissions, deep-linking requirements, and any store compliance concerns before generating the native projects. Once the iOS and Android layers are in place, I’d validate real-time WebSocket behavior under backgrounding, network changes, and app resume states, since those are common points of failure in mobile wrappers. TestFlight and Play Internal Testing builds would be used to verify notifications, location access, and production-like connectivity before submission. I’m comfortable with Xcode, Android Studio, Fastlane, FCM, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console, and I can handle the review iterations until both apps are live. Could you share whether push notifications already exist on the backend, or if native delivery setup is still required?

Hello, I see you already have a production-ready React + Vite and Node.js web app and now need someone who has shipped Capacitor apps through both App Store Connect and Google Play. I’ve done this for projects where I delivered full iOS and Android builds, including geolocation, push notifications, and WebSocket‑driven features that passed review without regressions. In two recent launches, I integrated Capacitor into existing codebases, configured native layers, resolved background‑mode permission issues, and navigated Apple’s push notification entitlement reviews to get the apps approved. The real challenge in your project is ensuring WebSocket real‑time functionality and background geolocation behave consistently across both native shells, Android limits background tasks differently than iOS, and Apple often flags missing usage descriptions during review. Addressing these upfront prevents multi‑day delays. I will integrate Capacitor, generate both native projects, wire geolocation and push using FCM/APNs, validate real‑time connectivity, create TestFlight and internal Android builds, then manage store submissions until both listings are live. To proceed smoothly, I’ll document the audit in a short technical report and outline the exact build sequence and risk points. Best regards, John allen.

Hi! Your goal to bring a React+Vite web app into both app stores using Capacitor—with geolocation, push, and real-time WebSockets kept working—is exactly the kind of bridge project I’ve done before. Having all icons and splash screens ready will keep the first milestone clean. I shipped eSignatory (Android, built with Capacitor, live in Play Store) from a React codebase with push, geolocation, and socket-driven messaging that survived app backgrounding. Getting real-time features stable on both iOS and Android was tricky—I had to patch WebSocket reconnect logic and adapt FCM/APNs token handling for auto-renewal, plus work through a few App Store Connect reviews over permissions wording. For yours, I’d start with a full repo audit and write up a step-by-step build and review plan—no code changes until that’s agreed. Then I’d layer in Capacitor, set native permissions, and follow with feature testing and store submissions. Quick check: do any app features use background geolocation, or just foreground? That changes how I’d handle permissions on iOS. I can send a sample build roadmap and a list of known App Store rejection risks for this stack—free as a first step. Hi, We will integrate Capacitor into your React + Vite codebase, configure both native projects, and push each build live on both stores. For geolocation and push notifications, we will use the official Capacitor plugins with Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android. WebSocket connections will persist through native lifecycle hooks to avoid silent disconnects. A couple of quick things to confirm: 1) Do you already have Apple Developer and Google Play accounts set up? 2) Are push notifications handled by a specific service on your Node backend? The number quoted here is a starting estimate. The exact cost and timeline will be confirmed after we go through the full scope together. Send me a message and we can go over the details. Best regards, Faizan

______________ Your milestone structure is exactly how I like to approach mobile conversions: audit first, then implementation, testing, store submission, and review support. I have worked with React-based applications wrapped with Capacitor, handling native integrations such as geolocation, push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging, deep linking, background permissions, and WebSocket-powered real-time features while preserving the existing web architecture. For this project, I would begin with a full repository assessment to identify any browser-only dependencies, native plugin requirements, build-signing considerations, and App Store or Google Play compliance risks before generating the iOS and Android projects. After that, I would configure Capacitor, native permissions, icons, splash assets, TestFlight builds, internal testing releases, and guide the application through both review processes until publication. ❖ Does your current push notification system already use Firebase Cloud Messaging, or will notification infrastructure need to be implemented as part of the migration plan? ❖ Comfortable with Xcode, Android Studio, Firebase Cloud Messaging, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, provisioning profiles, certificates, TestFlight, and production release management. Kind regards
