IT Full-Stack Web Developer - 3 months (based in Dubai)

We are looking for a dynamic Full-Stack Web Developer for a total of 3 months who will work independently and collaboratively in our IT department to create a number of small, quick development website solutions. You will be a self-professed geek based in Dubai who has a thirst to learn about new technologies, languages, coding approaches and architectures. You will be someone who thinks it's great you can get paid to have fun writing code and who is happiest when you see your solutions being used by people knowing you were involved creating it. What can you expect to work on? Working in an Agile way alongside the IT Project Manager and reporting to the Global IT Manager, you will be responsible for creating and rolling out these sites: - Helping shape the user requirements - Writing the website and database code - Testing the solution and writing technical documentation - Releasing incremental builds of the solution to the cloud - Helping train users on how to use the solutions You’ll work in a fast-paced, multicultural, rapidly growing environment. The role demands a passionate and self-driven attitude, great communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to break down large problems and tackle ambitious goals. Experience and knowledge We will want to test these skills as part of the interview process so it's important to be confident in them: - We want to develop Bootstrap sites so knowledge of that plus HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery and CSS is needed - The backend code will be in C# so you'll also need to know that. - Data store wil be a Microsoft SQL Azure database so knowledge of creating and managing databases, tables, writing CRUD queries will be helpful - The sites will be hosted on Microsoft Azure so experience in creating and managing sites on the Azure platform is useful - but if you don't have this don't worry - The architectural approach we want to use is the Clean Architecture approach so it would be great if you’re confident in understanding and using it - but it isn't a deal breaker if you're happier using a more classic 3-tier approach If you are an excellent team player passionate about learning new IT skills to help drive businesses forward, we want you in our team!
